It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!

Ah Spring, a time when a young geek’s fancy turns to the important things.

First and foremost on our minds here at Geeksville is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!

What?  You never heard of Free Comic Book Day?  Well that’s just not right.  This saturday is the day that all the comic publishers make available special issues for fans, old and new alike to see what they might be missing.  Some publishers create all new special issues of their regular comics to give away, others may create a special book that may introduce a new event or storyline going on in their regular titles.

Where do you find these free comic books?  Well at your local comic book shop of course.  You don’t know where you local comic book shop is?  Well here is a easy way to find out.  Just go to this page, right here, and enter your zip code.   Now there are dozens of comics being offered, but supplies are limited, so you should call and find out when you local shop will be open.  Many stores are also having other events, like comic creator signings, picnic events,  things for the whole family.  So check it out!
