Doctor Who World Tour Live Streams!

 

The Doctor Who World Tour for Series 8 has kicked off this week in the UK, and soon will be heading out around the world.  But there are millions of fans around the world who aren’t lucky enough to live close to one of the tour’s 7 cities.  What are they to do?  Well as luck will have it…

UPDATE:  The BBC has announced it will be cancelling the Sydney Live stream

 

 

That’s right, the fan Q&A events in three cities.  Seoul, Sydney and Mexico City will all be streamed live to the web for fans anywhere to world to watch in real-time. (No word yet if they will be a way for fans to take part.)  The event in Rio de Janeiro will be available On Demand, after it finishes on August 19.

We want to give everyone the chance to be part of the tour wherever they are in the world so will be live streaming the Q&A panels featuring Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman and Steven Moffat here on the official Doctor Who YouTube channel. (Steven Moffat will only be participating in certain Q and A sessions as his tour schedule allows.)

 

The live stream will be available through youtube, with each city having its own page.   Times are subject to change, so check back here for any updates.

UPDATE:  –  It seems the video World Tour event that took place in Seoul has been turned into a private video (much like the Sydney Event).   So it will probably become available after Deep Breath airs on August 23rd as well.

The video feed for Mexico City, however still has it’s countdown clock running.

The events schedule for New York on  Thursday August 14 is still a bit of a mystery.  Details about when and where will be released soon. As well as ticket information.   When we know more, you can count on us to get the information to you!

Doctor Who will be taking over BBC America with a marathon that kicks off Monday, August 18 at 8 a.m. Eastern.  More information about what BBC America has planned can be found here
