Adrianne Palicki, and her character Bobbi “Mockingbird” Morse, will be hanging around with the S.H.I.E.L.D team for a while longer, as the actress has just been signed as a series regular for the rest of the second season of the Marvel TV series, when it returns in March. She first appeared in the series in the 5th episode this season, A Hen in the Wolf House.
Palicki hasn’t been a stranger to comic book series, but oddly enough until her turn as Bobbi Morse, all her appearances have been in DC related series. She was cast as Wonder Woman for a pilot in 2011 that was written and produced by David E. Kelly(The Practice, for NBC that didn’t get picked up. But before that she also appeared in a season 3 episode of Smallville, where she played a girl who thought she was a Kryptonian named Kara. She also appeared in the Aquaman pilot shot for the WB Network that was not picked up.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on March 3rd with the episode Aftershocks. The series will continue to set up the concept of the Inhumans and set up what role they will play in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
