Is Microsoft Buying Minecraft?

It’s been reported by the Wall Street Journal that Microsoft is on the verge of purchasing Notch’s Minecraft IP for over 2 billion dollars.  Both representatives of Mircosoft and Mojang AB, the Swedish software company behind Minecraft have opted to not comment on the potential deal.
