Cosplay Is Not Killing Comics

  As someone who has done comics retail for 6 years, I feel confident speaking on the subject of cosplay and comic conventions, and the recent trend of industry professionals and retailers complaining about cosplayers. Let these people dress up as the characters. A good number of them are fans of the character they dress up as, but some are ignorant, and I say let them. Amazon Buys Twitch

  Remember when Google was going to buy Twitch for 1 billion dollars? Well, not anymore. Amazon has stepped in and is on the verge of acquiring Twitch for just under 1 billion dollars. It is being reported that its a cash deal.  Sounds like pretty sweet deal for Twitch’s Justin Kan and Emmet Shear.     But what does this mean for streamers and viewers? Immediately, probably not much,  But down the line, who knows?   We may see a service become  subscription based.
