#MarvelEvent! The Complete Phase Three Announcement!

After losing a bit of momentum to the Distinguished Competition recent scheduling announcement, Marvel Films put on a show as Kevin Feige took the stage at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles to show their rivals how fans deserve to find out about their upcoming projects, collectively known as Phase Three.  Feige’s thinking is that they should have fun with this sort of announcement, fans not stockholders need to be on the front line. Will Benedict Cumberbatch be Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme?

  Deadline has reported that Marvel wants Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch for the role the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange in their cinematic universe. That doesn’t mean that the Star Trek Into Darkness actor will be playing the part, though.  The Hollywood news site’s sources only said that Marvel wants him, and that negotiations will begin between the studio and the actor soon.   While Cumberbatch would be a fine choice to play the one time surgeon turned magical super-hero, the question of his availability comes to mind.  The actor already has three films, The Yellow Bird, Jungle Book: Origins and Flying Horse, scheduled … Continue reading
