  This weekend, Warner Brothers had their panel at Comic Con, showcasing several of the major films they have coming in the next year or so, including several DC Comic projects.  The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer went live on youtube for the world to see. Batman v Superman trailer, Suicide Squad first look debuts at SDCC.

This year Marvel passed on a presentation in the big room, so it’s WB/DC Entertainment’s turn in Hall H to wow the folks at San Diego Comic Con, and they didn’t hold anything back. The room was filled with anxious fans, whose appetite was whetted with looks at a couple of non-DC related projects first, The Man from U.N.C.L.E (starring Superman, himself, Henry Cavill as Napoleon Solo and Armie Hammer as Illya Kuryakin).  The presentation kicked off with a taped introduction by the always colorful and highly redacted director Guy Ritchie. If you Google “Marvel clothing line”, it’s about a 90/10 split of male clothing to female clothing. If you go to Marvel’s online store, they have some T-shirts and tank tops for women (many are unisex), but there are few options. DC Film Slate Announced at WB Investor Meeting, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and 2 Justice Leagues in the Works.

  Get your popcorn, and a really big drink, because there will be at least a dozen DC Entertainment movies between now and 2020.  Also coming are more Lego Movies, and three films in the Harry Potter spin-off series Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Announced today to Warner Brother shareholders by WB CEO Kevin Tsujihara during the company’s shareholder meeting. 2 films a year, beginning in 2016 with Batman v.
