Paramount Pictures has released the official version of the Star Trek Beyond trailer. You didn’t come here to just read about it, so here it is. Earlier today, the German language version of the trailer had leaked out to the internet, so Paramount went ahead and put the official one out, just days before it was slated to appear in theaters before the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We knew this day was coming. For 20 years. They’ve come back. Independence Day was a huge hit, it was classic 1950s B-movie alien invasion story, with state of the art special effects, and a talented cast, including a Fresh Prince, on his way to becoming one of the biggest stars in the world. No point writing much here, you’re not reading it. You just want to see the 2+ minutes of new Star Wars goodness. So here it is. So much to be excited about, but almost 2 months to wait! But if you’re the kind of person who knows they have to see it first, you’re in luck. Ticket sales for the sequel also went live today, just after the spot aired during tonight’s Giants/Eagles game on ESPN (a nice bit of corporate synergy from the Mouse House). What do you think? This weekend, Warner Brothers had their panel at Comic Con, showcasing several of the major films they have coming in the next year or so, including several DC Comic projects.
