Time to Meet The Muppets, Again

ABC will be launching a new Muppet series this fall, and the folks at San Diego Comic Con got a sneak peak at the new show in advance of everyone else. Adrianne Palicki’s Mockingbird Bumped Up To SHIELD Series Regular

  Adrianne Palicki, and her character Bobbi “Mockingbird” Morse, will be hanging around with the S.H.I.E.L.D team for a while longer, as the actress has just been signed as a series regular for the rest of the second season of the Marvel TV series, when it returns in March.   She first appeared in the series in the 5th episode this season, A Hen in the Wolf House. Hush Little Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. don’t say a word; Adrianne Palicki will being playing Mockingbird

  Adrianne Palicki (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) will finally play a comic book character on television.  The almost Wonder Woman has been cast as Barbara “Bobbi”Morse a/k/a Mockingbird for an episode of  Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Besides Wonder Woman, Palicki also appeared in the Aquaman pilot shot for the WB a few years back. This will be her first comic book inspired performance to actually make it to the screen. Agent Carter Details from Marvel

Flash, iZombie picked up as series for the fall

The CW network has revealed it’s fall line up for 2014. To no one’s surprised, joining the CW schedule is  Arrow spin-off series The Flash, along with the DC/Vertigo inspired iZombie from Veronica Mars show runner Rob Thomas. I was cautiously optimistic when I heard they were introducing Barry Allen and the Flash to the Arrow-verse last year.  The brightly colored Scarlet Speedster seemed so at odds with the dark and moody world of the hooded vigilante.  But somehow they found an nice balance.   Of course the Flash himself has not shown up the parent series.  The backdoor pilot they … Continue reading
