Is Microsoft Buying Minecraft?

  Here’s some news that gamers probably didn’t want to hear. It’s been reported by the Wall Street Journal that Microsoft is on the verge of purchasing Notch’s Minecraft IP for over 2 billion dollars.  Both representatives of Mircosoft and Mojang AB, the Swedish software company behind Minecraft have opted to not comment on the potential deal.   Activision-Blizzard has its most well-known property, World of Warcraft, already being developed by Universal Studios and it will arrive in theatres in early 2016. Amazon Buys Twitch

  Remember when Google was going to buy Twitch for 1 billion dollars? Well, not anymore. Amazon has stepped in and is on the verge of acquiring Twitch for just under 1 billion dollars. It is being reported that its a cash deal.  Sounds like pretty sweet deal for Twitch’s Justin Kan and Emmet Shear.     But what does this mean for streamers and viewers?   Square Enix is releasing a new Nintendo 3DS game Thetrythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call. this September 16th. This game remixes the classic Final Fantasy music written by Nobuo Uematsu, 221 songs from the entire 25 year-long Final Fantasy franchise.
