A Hellblazer Comes to Star City – Matt Ryan to Appear on Arrow.

Matt Ryan will get another crack to play John Constantine, the Hellblazer, joining the CW’s DC Universe this fall on an episode of Arrow.   It was announced today at the Television Critics Association. “It’s a great one-shot episode,” said network President Mark Pedowitz at the CW’s presentation. Terrific Casting News from Arrow

The Arrow-verse continues to expand. Today Entertainment Weekly reports that Echo Kellum (Ben and Kate) has been cast as Curtis Holt, an employee of Palmer Industries, working with Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards).  Curtis, an inventor/tech genius, will also have a night job.  He’ll be out on the streets fighting crime as Mr. Terrific.  Kellum will make his début in the series’ second episode this fall. Get Your First Look at Vixen from SDCC15

  The CW television network has released a trailer for their upcoming Vixen animated series, which will debut in August on their digital platform, CW Seed. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow – Today!

  For sometime we have been hearing about the new team series set in the Arrow-verse, featuring characters from both Arrow and it’s spinoff, The Flash, plus “three never-before-seen-on-TV DC characters”.  News of casting has dripped out, and we now know who is on the team (or at least who will be on the show) and now we get our first look of (some of) them in action in this special teaser that the CW has put out, introducing DC’s Legends of Tomorrow! CBS Puts SUPERGIRL Upfront

CBS had their 2015 season up fronts yesterday, where they introduce their new shows and schedule to ad buyers for the coming fall television season, and the Maid of Might was upfront and center. The Tiffany Network announced that the DC comicbook adaption will be on the schedule, and will be airing on Mondays, at 8pm (opposite DC’s Batman prequel, Gotham, on Fox) beginning November this fall.  They also released our first look at the series, with a trailer that is one part super hero origin, and one part network dram-edy.
