Titans Come Together for TNT

We hadn’t too much about the possible live action Teen Titans series being developed  by Executive Producers Akiva Goldsman and Mark Haimes lately.  That changed this morning, curtosey of the good folks over at Nerdist News this morning, where they announced a possible look at the team line up. It’s reported that the show will draw inspiration from the classic 80’s version of the team by comics legends Marv Wolfman and George Pérez.  The early line-up certainly attests to that, but there are a few surprises thrown into the mix.  Though it does seems that it will also draw on … Continue reading

As you may remember, I was up late after the first day, due to an animal emergency.   I was still pretty tired, but I tried to get to the Con pretty early, because I knew I wanted to get to the Doctor Who panel.  It was mostly a fan gathering as no one listed to appear on the panel was directly connected to the … Continue reading

The New 52 – Running Down Week 1 of the DC Relaunch

It’s been a pretty busy here in Geeksville, what with a whole new DC universe to look over. I’ll go into more detail soon, but I just wanted to run thru the first offerings of DC’s relaunched line, ranking them first to worst with some quick thoughts, so let’s get right to it, huh? Now in general I was very satisfied with the first week of the New 52.   If I had unlimited funds, I would stick with all of these books for the first 4, to see where they go.  But since money is an issue, I’ll need to … Continue reading
