Batman v Superman trailer, Suicide Squad first look debuts at SDCC.

This year Marvel passed on a presentation in the big room, so it’s WB/DC Entertainment’s turn in Hall H to wow the folks at San Diego Comic Con, and they didn’t hold anything back. Ben Affleck Directing the Next Batman Movie?

This may be exciting news for some of you, and horrifying news to the rest.  Ben Affleck is reportedly writing and directing the Batman movie. While the news may make some fans nervous, it shouldn’t. The incumbent actor in the bat-suit has a successful track record as a director and writer. He directed for the best picture Oscar-winning Argo, and famously won an Oscar for screenwriting Good Will Hunting with frequent collaborator and friend Matt Damon.   Variety is reporting that an unnamed extra working on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in Michigan as told a local news outlet that Robin will be female. DC Film Slate Announced at WB Investor Meeting, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and 2 Justice Leagues in the Works.

  Get your popcorn, and a really big drink, because there will be at least a dozen DC Entertainment movies between now and 2020.  Also coming are more Lego Movies, and three films in the Harry Potter spin-off series Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Announced today to Warner Brother shareholders by WB CEO Kevin Tsujihara during the company’s shareholder meeting. 2 films a year, beginning in 2016 with Batman v.
