NYCC 2014 – Day Four – Family, Friends, and Fun

  Four days of nerdvana came to a close earlier today.  Comics, TV, movies, video games, cosplay and all sorts of fun was to be had, as over 100,000 fans came out for Family Day at New York Comic Con.     It was a low key day for me, after a late night out, celebrating friend of Geeksville Aleta Pardalis‘ second place finish in the TV and Film category in the Eastern Championships of Cosplay. Underneath the Cosplay – Spectra Marvelous

Be honest,  the coolest thing about Batman is the cape. Okay, maybe it’s the car, and the gadgets, and the whole being a billionaire.  But visually, when you see Batman, the coolest thing is the way his cape looks.  If you’re anything like me, you’ve tried to wear a cape, and in your mind you look just as bad ass as Batman.   In reality, you look like a kid with a towel wrapped around your neck. NYCC 2013 Day 3 – More Doctor Who, Valiant, and of course, COSPLAY OF THE DAY!

Saturday at New York Comic Con. Or as I like to call it,  the 8th ring of hell. Maybe it’s not the best thing for a mild agoraphobic like myself to be at, but I persevered.
