Make room in your class schedule for a little time travel.  Aquinas College, in Stockport, Greater Manchester, UK is offering a class this spring in our favorite Time Lord, Doctor Who. Part of the school’s Adult Education program, the class will run 11 weeks, meeting once a week.  The class will cover all 51 years of the program’s illustrious history, from the it’s conception by Sydney Newman and Verity Lambert right up though the present day series, starring Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman, and produced by Steven Moffat. The Sixth Doctor Finally Gets His Last Adventure

After Doctor Who’s 23rd season,  it was announced Colin Baker would no longer play the Doctor, and Sylvester McCoy was cast, taking over the role in 1987 for the shows last 3 seasons.  Baker wasn’t offered a chance to film a final regeneration story. They did ask him to film a regeneration scene, which he turned down. NYCC 2013 Day 4 – More Who, More Cosplay, More Friends, and More Fun.

  Sunday at Comic Con had always been a day where things were a little quieter in the past.   It was a good day to head out onto the floor, look for deals, maybe seek out a favorite artist and get to talk to them without being too rushed.
