Marvel for her vs. Marvel for him

If you Google “Marvel clothing line”, it’s about a 90/10 split of male clothing to female clothing. If you go to Marvel’s online store, they have some T-shirts and tank tops for women (many are unisex), but there are few options. Despite past arguments on the subject, women are just as likely to be fans of superheroes as men, but for some reason it is a very underutilized market. Recently, Marvel released a fashion collection for men, which includes professional wear, reversible shirts, and jackets with secret pockets. Everything is sleek, and stylish. A New Trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron Drops

May is getting closer and closer, so you can count on Marvel upping the ante with new Avengers: Age of Ultron info hitting the web. Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer leaked – WITH VIDEO

It was going to début during the October 28th episode of  Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, but like so many other things before it, the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer managed to worm its way out on to the World Wide Web. As quickly as sites could get the trailer online, among the first places to go live with it was comic news site, Comic Book Resources.  Disney asked them (in what I imagine was in the strongly worded email) they remove it (which they did not 30 minutes later)   But not before word got out, and it then showed up … Continue reading

October in New York, my favorite time of year in my favorite place in the world.   The air is crisp, the leaves in Central Park are just starting to change.   The Yankees are in the Post-…   what?  They didn’t make the playoffs? Well that’s ok, because there is still New York Comic Con going on this year! Ah, The Jacob Javits Center,   you will never find a greater hive of scum and villainy…   and geeks. The first day of NYCC is usually the most sparsely attended, and if today was any indication, it’s going to be a busy weekend on … Continue reading
