Make room in your class schedule for a little time travel.  Aquinas College, in Stockport, Greater Manchester, UK is offering a class this spring in our favorite Time Lord, Doctor Who. Part of the school’s Adult Education program, the class will run 11 weeks, meeting once a week.  The class will cover all 51 years of the program’s illustrious history, from the it’s conception by Sydney Newman and Verity Lambert right up though the present day series, starring Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman, and produced by Steven Moffat. More Doctor Who Online Content Coming

  Showrunner Steven Moffat, in an interview with SFX magazine, that their will be more online episodes like Pond Life, and Night of the Doctor. It’s official – Tennant and Piper in the 50th Anniversary Doctor Who Special

The BBC officially announced a (partial) cast list for this fall’s Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special, and to no one’s real surprise, David Tennant has been confirmed as appearing.  How ever, there was a second somewhat unexpected name announced.  No,  not him.  Billie Piper will be along with Tennant when the two Doctors meet up this November. IDW to produce 50th Anniversary Doctor Who Maxi-Series

IDW has produced some pretty cool Doctor Who comics, not to mention the Doctor Who/Star Trek the Next Generation crossover they are currently putting out (Issue 6 (of 8) will be out this week!), and have recently relaunched the ongoing title with Andy Diggle writing and art by Mark Buckingham. Now they are joining in to the Doctor’s 50th Anniversary (the program debuted on the BBC on November 23, 1963) with a new 12 issue Maxi-series called Doctor Who: Prisoners of Time.
