Who’s Going To Be on Atom’s Spinoff Team? Casting Details leaked.

TVLine is reporting that they have learned details about the three unnamed characters who will be joining the team-up show with Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Caity Lotz, who played Sarah Lance, the Canary, who  was killed at the start of Arrow’s third season. There is a lot of speculation on who these characters could be.  I can see the writer’s room, and it looks like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman in that scene from Justice League of America #0 (the last series, before the New 52).  There is a table covered with photos … Continue reading

Read of the Week – 4/20/11

ZATANNA #12 Story: Matt Sturges Art: Stephane Roux, Covers: Amanda Conner Publisher: DC A $2.99 Comic I can’t say I have a strong history with the Maid of Magic, Zatanna.  She was a character I was familiar with, but she always seemed more of supporting character, but thanks to Paul Dini’s love for the character, she has finally gotten her own ongoing series.  Now a year old, I have been picking it up, and have been enjoying it. BATMAN, INC #4 Story: Grant Morrison Art: Chris Burnham Covers: JH WIlliams and Yanick Paquette Alternate Cover Publisher: DC A $2.99 Comic This is not the book I thought I’d be writing about this week. I casually mentioned last week that I’m not a huge Batman fan. I’m not saying I’m not a fan. But on my rank of characters, let’s say he just misses the top five. (Dick Grayson, however is in the top five.) I wasn’t sure what to make of this title when it first came out. I’m a child of the 80’s, when Batman, as a … Continue reading

Enough of my bellyachin’ you want to know what was waiting for me at my Local Comic Shop… Blackest Night: Flash #2 DC Story: Geoff Johns Art: Scott Kollins I should be enjoying this book more. I guess I was hoping for a more self contained story, but this series, like the Blackest Night:Wonder Woman series, seems to be taking place between the pages … Continue reading
